The Philippine Tax Academy (PTA) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) have officially signed a service contract for the integration of National ID Authentication Services (NIDAS) into the PTA’s Enterprise Learning Management System (ELMS), marking a pivotal moment in the country’s digital transformation journey.
The ceremonial signing, held on September 24, 2025, was attended by PTA President Gil S. Beltran, PSA Assistant Secretary Rosalinda P. Bautista, and distinguished guests from both agencies and witnessed by the participants of the PTA Convention. The event celebrated a shared commitment to innovation, transparency, and efficient public service delivery.
President Beltran highlighted the transformative potential of the partnership, stating, “By integrating the National ID into the PTA ELMS, we reinforce the integrity of our learning environment. Every credential earned will be backed by verified identity, and every data point will be safeguarded with the highest standards of privacy and security.”
Assistant Secretary Bautista echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the initiative is more than a technological upgrade, but it is a demonstration of a shared vision to harness technology for the benefit of the Filipino people. “With NIDAS, every learner logging into the ELMS Portal can be authenticated with confidence, removing redundancies, reducing risks of fraud, and guaranteeing that resources are used only by their rightful beneficiaries,” she said.
The integration of National ID eVerify into the ELMS ensures that government employees and stakeholders in the tax and revenue sector benefit from a secure, seamless, and trusted identity system. This development marks the Philippine Tax Academy as the first educational institution to adopt National ID authentication for its learning platform, setting a new benchmark for digital innovation in public service.
Both leaders reaffirmed their agencies’ commitment to building a more connected, inclusive, and future-ready Philippine society. The partnership likewise lays the foundation for future integrations with platforms such as eGovPH, contributing to a unified digital government experience.
As the event concluded, President Beltran and Assistant Secretary Bautista conveyed their gratitude to the teams behind the successful implementation, recognizing their dedication and collaborative spirit.
This milestone serves as a testament to the power of inter-agency cooperation and signals a new era of secure, citizen-centric digital governance.
