Course No. 1000: Induction Program Batch 1 and 2

This program is developed specifically to be undertaken by the newly hired employees from the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Bureau of Customs, and the Bureau of Local Government Finance. This program will provide general knowledge on revenue generation functions of the Department of Finance and Philippine tax concepts and principles as well as the Philippine government initiative programs, risk management, rules compliance, personality development, and other inter-agencies functionalities in both revenue and non-revenue generating agencies.

Basic Tax Administration Course (Batch 6)

This course is developed for newly-hired revenuers from any functional group. It aims to prepare them in performing their assigned tasks and achieving their goals and objectives. The course serves as the basic course for technical trainings.

Participants will be provided with the basic knowledge on taxation concepts and overview of all internal revenue taxes – definitions, BIR’s processes from registration to filing & payment, and all compliance requirements.

Briefing on Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Batch 5)

The Briefing on Data Privacy Act was designed to provide awareness and training to all BIR officials and employees about the proper collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, erasure or destruction of personal data to ensure that the Bureau complies with the international standards for data protection set by the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

The course is designed to orient new entrants of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to identify the agency’s mission-vision, thrusts as well as the services available to its clientele.  Basic areas of personnel administration, performance management system and employee benefits and career growth and development programs. Likewise, participants must be aware of the professional behavior that the organization requires including laws and regulations affecting their employment to give them greater sense of commitment from their work.         

The course also equips the participants with knowledge on the BIR operations enabling them to build an effective and cooperative work group.

Course No. 2001: Bureau of Customs Onboarding Course Batch 4

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Onboarding Program was designed specifically to acclimatize the newly hired employees on the organizations’ mandate, vision, mission including basic operational knowledge on how the BOC works. By inculcating the basic information and functionalities of the organization, the employees will have an overall understanding on why, what and how the organization operationalized. By capacitating new entrants on these areas, it will allows them to become more knowledgeable and productive in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as a Public Servant.
